If using GPS, please use “1296 Lawrence Street, Rahway, NJ. As you approach the exit ramp look for signs U.C.R.R.F – Union County Resource Recovery Facility”

Garden State Parkway

• Exit 135
• Enter traffic circle
• ½ way around circle to “Rahway-Brant Avenue”
• Go to traffic light, make a left onto “Westfield Avenue”
• Go straight – 3 traffic lights – cross over “St. Georges Avenue” (“Westfield Avenue” turns into “Grand venue”)
• Continue straight down Grand Avenue cross over “Elizabeth Avenue” to the light and make a right onto “Lawrence Street”
• Go through three (3) traffic lights
• Make a left hand turn into the driveway directly under the bridge.
• Follow the driveway through the gate
• You will be in the back of the building.
• Stay to the left and follow signs for Visitors which direct you to the front of the building.

New Jersey Turnpike

• Take Exit 12 (Rahway/Carteret)
• Keep Right coming off the ramp
• Turn on to Roosevelt Avenue
• Follow this road all the way down (approx 3 miles)
• Roosevelt Avenue will turn into Randolph Avenue
• Follow Randolph Avenue until you come to a “T” in the road (Woodbridge Road).  The Department of Motor Vehicles will be in front of you and there will be a Quick Check on your right.
• Make a right onto Woodbridge Road
• Go though first light
• Woodbridge Road turns into Lawrence St.
• Cross over the river
• Make a right hand turn directly under the bridge (before you reach the gas station)
• Turn right, and go through the gate (This will bring you to the back of the building)
• Stay to your left and follow signs directing you to the front of the building (Visitor Parking)

Route 1 & 9 North Bound

• After the SANSON Auto Mall, take the Roosevelt Avenue Exit (there is a green sign for the Union County Resource Recovery Facility)
• Continue on Roosevelt Avenue until the first light at Woodbridge Road (land mark, NJ Motor Vehicle, Quick Chek)
• Make a left hand turn on to Woodbridge Road.
• Go though first light
• Woodbridge Road turns into Lawrence St.
• Cross over the river
• Make a right hand turn directly under the bridge (before you reach the gas station)
• Turn right, and go through the gate (This will bring you to the back of the building)
• Stay to your left and follow signs directing you to the front of the building (Visitor Parking)

Route 1 & 9 South Bound

• Enter into Rahway; you will see the facility on the left hand side.
• Go through the light and pass the Burger King on the right there will be a right hand exit from the highway that leads to the Union County Resource Recovery Facility.
• Follow this road through the gate and follow signs for visitor parking.
